:(

My fur makes papa’s eyes itch! Not normally, but now that he has had an op-e-ra-tion- the furs hurt his eyes- I think the operation is called a ‘cornea transplant’- and it’s made him a little ‘sensitive’.. there is a risk of getting in-fec-tion….

Papa also smells different for all the drops he puts in his eyes. I tried to jump on the bed and then I realized how different the bed smells…. I was so shocked that I stopped myself. Also sometimes when I look at papa, I think he does not really see me. I meow and walk over to him- only then he pets and talks to me.

Mama was telling me that papa will soon be ‘as good as new’. I want my old papa back, but I guess that’s a human way of saying that ‘my old papa will be back’.

I need to go to a cat boarding again :(. I’ll miss my humans, but I guess they could not help it. They miss me terribly when I am gone. I can tell by the way they cuddle me when I come back. But I know that the worst thing for our family at the moment would be if anything goes wrong with papa’s eyes.

After all it’s just 7 days….

Why do humans use that foul smelling thingie?!

March 7, 2009 at 10:15 pm (cat behavior, cat chat) (, , , , , , , , , , )

Humans!

Mama’s hair AGAIN smells of that foul thingie (insert by Mauzzie for the human readers: Shampoo). I HATE that smell. It smells ‘flo-we-ry’!

You tell me, why would a HUMAN smell of a FLOWER???!!?

Everytime I smell it in Mama’s hair, I groom her. A LOT. She better smell of ‘me’, than some wretched flower!

I don’t get humans! Don’t they like their own smell??!! I thought everyone likes their own smell… was I wrong?

home sweet home

March 7, 2009 at 6:29 am (cat behavior) (, , , , , , )

As all you all cats will agree, cats are superior beings. Thus we need to have some sort of ‘weight’ in the way we carry ourselves to the outer world. Well, I almost failed that today. Well, almost. I’ll tell you how :|. Keep it to yourselves though, consider it a ‘cat secret’.

Mama got me home from that place- you know where cats take their time-outs from humans (insert by Mauzzie for the human readers: cat boarding)- when I came back to my house I was overjoyed: I sniffed around, scratched the human seats (insert my Mauzzie for the human readers: sofasets), marked the humans, ate from my food bowl- just so I know things are still the same, sniffed my litter tray. Everything was in order!

We cats like things to remain as they are, always. It makes us happy to see that those poor humans still smell the same and nothing was moved around the house. One of my humans is a little sick and his eye smells different- but he still smells like he did otherwise. So- I’m not too bothered about that strange eye.

Oh I digress. As I was saying, you see- in my territorial ramblings- I almost ‘told’ the humans that I missed them! Now that the things are back to some sort of normal- I am working again to uphold cat supremity.

As a first step- I’m sleeping on my window seat, and NOT on my human’s lap!

Just a whisper to other cats though: I’m glad everything smells the same; and the home still feels like home. I can nap peacefully now for a good few hours.

I have not seen my humans in 3 days!

I think I am in a cat boarding that they dropped me to because papa needed a surgery and they would not have been home!

I want to go home! I think I’m going home tomorrow.

HUMANS! Take me home!!!

papa’s eyes and other noos’!

February 28, 2009 at 7:08 am (cat behavior) (, , , , , , , )

Mama and papa have been busy and I had no one to help me blog! They’ve been busy at home, and mama complains about work too- that she’s drowning in work. Not sure how one ‘drowns’ in work. It’s not like ‘work’ is ‘water’!

Humans!

I think papa is having a surgery in a few days. Cor-nea trans-plant. This is a com-plicated way of getting another human’s cor-nea and getting rid of the one he has now. I wonder if it will still smell the same. I guess I’ll need to find out in time.

Meanwhile, I think it’s good that papa will stay at home with me for some days. A kitty needs com-pany and papa makes a good com-panion! Besides, I’m a big boy now and I can take full responsibility of grooming the human!

We all know humans need grooming and cats do it best!

Besides the tops on human bellies make the best cat beds!
